Line 2 seriously kicked my butt this morning. Boyfriend said I need to suck it up since I’ll be doing more 100s and 200s than 50s. I’m making my times and I feel like I’m getting my endurance back.

On a side note - I’m getting use to this wake-up-at-5am program. Wait - did I really just say that?! View high resolution

Throwing running back into the mix this week. After making the rookie mistake of not stretching properly last week I will be sure to warm up properly before all future runs!

(For the record all my snaps are taken with iPhone/instagram. I hope to incorporate some filmy analog stuff eventually - as it’s a hobby of mine) View high resolution

got a few extra training tools this week. I’ll be using them sparingly and mostly to improve my technique. I like the leg bouy more then the fins - but that’s based solely on first impressions

I’ve increased my swim program by 10 minutes, adding a few more efforts and 6 laps each with fins and bouy. That puts me at about 30 minutes total - which is a good place to be for now.

This morning I rode into work (sans garmin, still) then went for a run after work. My run was cut short by an annoying pinching tense feeling in my upper thigh. I figured it was best to stop before causing any unnecessary damage. It’s the first time in ages where I’ve had any kind of pain while exercising - so I’m happy I didn’t try to push through it. Just came home after 1.5ish miles and stretched and iced. I need to be more diligent about warming up and stretching (especially after sitting at a computer all day!)
